THE ACADEMY BLUES PROJECT is a band based in New York City. The group’s music blends electric storytelling with elements of rock, the namesake blues, power pop and classic soul.

ABP produced, recorded and released three brand-new studio albums in 2021: The Neon Grotto, Once Again…, and prodigal sun.

The Academy Blues Project cuts its teeth performing live, playing hundreds of shows in the Northeast U.S. and beyond. ABP has performed at the Kennedy Center, Brooklyn Academy of Music, Musikfest and in-residence at countless clubs throughout NYC, including Groove, Union Hall, and Joe’s Pub (where the band recorded their live album, Evil Mubla). ABP's shows draw from a deep catalog of nearly l00 original songs and as many spontaneous crate-digging covers. In a decade of live performances, ABP have never featured the same setlist twice.
